Ultimate Genesis Amp Stand -
I found this stand to be absolutely perfect for my new Fender Super Champ XD amp. I needed something to elevate the amp and point the speaker upwards which this does just fine and with the added bonuses of the threaded mic adapter for live gigs and adjustable angle (via a 3-position back support leg), at this price, you can't go wrong. It's rated for 75 lbs. and is plenty stable for most amps, I mean, you set the amp on it and play, right? It also sports an ingenious locking system which allows the unit to break down quickly and locks securely to keep the entire unit very compact. I found this to be worth every penny!

worthless amp stand -
I was unable to use ANY mic boom with this stand. It did not matter if the amp/speaker was facing me (using as a monitor stand) or facing the audience for PA.
The threaded mic portion is too short to use for anything useful.
It may be sturdy enough, but it sure was wobbly ..
I sent it back...
